A few weeks ago I spotted this new product at my local Target. It claims to be a fast and convenient way to apply moisturizer. The spray can design intrigued me. I'm a total sucker for a gimmick so I had to pick this up.
Here are the basics:
- I paid around $6 for mine at Target.
- The product claims to have a 360° spray nozzle.
- It also claims that it provides a fine mist that drys in seconds.
Now for the reality:
- You have to rub in the product, so in reality there is no "Spray and Go."
- The mist isn't that fine unless you constantly shake up the product. Otherwise it just squirts out a thick stream that takes even longer to rub into your skin.
- This product isn't all that moisturizing.
The fact that I had to rub in the product that claims to be a spray and go didn't really bother me that much. What really bugged me was how much I had to shake up the product during the application process. I have to shake, spray, shake, spray, etc. It gets tiring after awhile and definitively doesn't offer the convenience it claims. Also, the worst part of all, it isn't really all that moisturizing. If you have dry skin like I do, this may not be moisturizing enough. I will hold on to this product and try it again in the summer when I want a lighter moisturizer. Overall, I didn't hate the product but I certainly didn't love it either.
