Bumble and Bumble Straight Blow Dry Review

Bumble and Bumble, Straight, Blow Dry, Hair, Cream, Creme, Balm, Review, Styling, Routine

If you haven’t noticed by now, I really love Bumble and Bumble products.  Last week, I posted a review of the Gentle Shampoo and Super Rich Conditioner.  This week, I am going to share with you my love for the Straight Blow Dry styling balm. Talk about a spoiler alert!  Well now that you that I love it I will fill you in on why it is such an awesome styling product.

This is the first styling product I bought from Bumble and Bumble.  I decided to test it out and by the 2oz at Sephora for $14 dollars.  If you want to buy the full size (5 oz) version, it costs $30.

When I initially bought the product I just planned on using it as a straightening balm but according to Sephora’s website, it can also be used as a heat protectant.  I’ve used it in place of my heat protectant and it hasn’t damaged my hair so I guess I lucked into a two for one product!

It not only protects against heat damage but it does an excellent job at straightening out my hair and gives me an amazing blow dry.  I find that my hair is easier to straighten and my blow dry lasts longer than when I don’t use it.

There is a scent to the product which includes notes like citrus and sandalwood.  To me it just smells fresh and like a fancy salon.  The scent is noticeable but not overpowering.

Two other styling balms were recently released and I have yet to try those.  I am eager to see if they work as well as the Straight styling cream.

If you’re in the market for a styling cream to give you a sleek blow out, than I definitely recommend you try this product out!

What is your favorite styling balm?

    1. I've wanted to try the B&B Sea Salt Spray but I wanted to use up my other salt sprays first. There's actually a new one that just launched that I'm really interested in getting. Its a salt and oil spray that is supposed to condition the hair and give soft waves.
