During the winter I struggle to keep my skin moisturized. My hands and lips are hit the hardest by the cold weather and I’ve tried dozens of products with varying levels of success. This winter I have struck gold with a lip balm and had cream that are able to defeat my dreaded dry skin.
I’ve been in love with this the Nuxe Reve de Miel for months now but its only in the last month that I’ve come to really appreciate how amazing this is at moisturizing. Usually this time of year my lips are consistently chapped and crack really easily. Since I’ve been using this lip balm, my lips have stayed smooth and crack-free. It’s a pretty thick balm, so I only use a tiny bit and their is still product left on my lips in the morning. I like to think of this balm as a protective blanket for my lips. It’s pretty amazing.
After I’ve enveloped my lips in a blanket of moisture, I finish up my routine with the Essie Intensive Hand Lotion. It does an amazing job at keeping my hands smooth even during the coldest of days. The formula is just substantial enough to moisturize without being too heavy. Since it takes a few seconds to sink into the skin, I use the time as an opportunity to give myself a mini hand massage. I've found that spending just a few minutes pampering myself before bed become one of the most relaxing parts of my evening routine.

DeleteI've not yet tried any of these products, but I've read wonderfully good reviews on both, so I can only imagine how darn good they really must be. I think I most want to try out the lip balm.

I really want to try more from Nuxe but I wish they weren't so expensive. The balm is definitely worth the money though.
DeleteGreat review :) That must be amazing.

I'm totally with you Amy! In the colder months I really turn to a hydrating lip balm and hand cream to keep everything from drying out and getting chapped. Like you, I am a huge fan of the Reve de Miel but the hand cream that has worked miracles for me is the Hand Chemistry one- so good!

Thanks for the recommendation Anjelique! I need to see if I can get my hands on it.
DeleteThis Nuxe lip balm seems absolutely amazing! I'm pretty loyal to the EOS lip balms, but I'm quite tempted to give this one a go, as it seems really great. :) <3 Thanks for sharing, hun!

I used to be all about the EOS lip balms too Kay. In the winter though I need more moisture and the Nuxe balm really delivers.
